Her self titled debut from the spring of 1997, alongside Erykah Badu's, "Baduizm" helped usher in what would later be dubbed the "Neo- Soul" movement.No longer signed to a label, her second album, Nomadic was previously only available at shows or on her website,but now it is re-issued and available.She takes inspiration from many genres of music including samba,reggae,rock,jazz,hip-hop but all very soulfully composed.
She sounds so strong,unique and she got some kind of personality...in my opinion!

This documentary is an experiment in sound recycling.It features four amazing,LA-based beatmakers:Daedelus,J Rocc,Ras G and Nobody in a secret mission to create new musical magic from the dusty remains of thrift store vinyl.

Secondhand Sureshots is a is a filmed experiment in creative sound recycling.Dublab directors Bryan “Morpho” Younce & Mark “frosty” McNeill sent beatmakers Daedelus, Nobody, J.Rocc and Ras G on safari into L.A.
thrift stores with orders to make new music out of five finds while the
cameras filmed the whole process. The result is a mini-documentary
about putting new life into old vinyl. Over 2 hours of footage, music
& bonus material.

So...this time I continue to present some of the local kool cats with their design works,art,music and to invite you on some of the forthcoming events!
I know I should do this earlier,but okay...never too late aight!?
These are two brothers from Belgrade,who are super-talented young guyz working  for B92 creative team on first place (and if you are into B92 tv, you will know that they are responsible for all that excellent B92 advertising,flyers for many dope parties and concerts and stuff)!But they are also well known as deejays (dnb,dubstep,broken beat,hip hop.fOnk,rap)...But this time we are talking about their design work with,for some time very wanted and dope too,DechkoTzar t-shirts!
They started in 2001. and from that time it grows and becoming better and better...and today we have one unique and dope brand!!!

After some dope news from Stones Throw records about new Madvillain,here's another one!

"Madlib is launching the Madlib Medicine Show, a once-a-month, twelve-CD, six-LP series.The Madlib Medicine Show will be a combination of Madlib's new hip-hop productions, remixes, beat tapes, and jazz, as well as mixtapes of funk, soul, Brazilian, psych, jazz and other undefined forms of music from the Beat Konducta's 4-ton* stack of vinyl".
Madlib Medicine Show No. 1 is Before The Verdict featuring Guilty Simpson, a 17-track album mixing remixes and new material, something of a prelude to Madlib & Guilty Simpson's forthcoming OJ Simpson album.

Madlib Medicine Show No. 2, Flight to Brazil, is a mixtape of Brazilian jazz, funk, prog-rock, folk and psychedelia. Later releases will include Beat Konducta in Africa.
