Marry Anne Hobbs "Wild Angels" compilation, Planet Mu

"Wild Angels" is the third in the compilation series from 'dubstep selecta' Marry Anne Hobbs,for Planet Mu.
The title Wild Angels was suggested to her by Planet Mu boss Mike Paradinas after Hobbs used the phrase to describe her hero Alice Coltrane and how she played the harp. Of course there aren’t any concrete links between this album and the world of free jazz, but contained within there is the suggestion of free-thinking and spiritually nourishing music.

new Smokey Robinson "Time flies when you're having fun"

 

 One of the Motown's legends dropped new album,"Time flies when you're having fun" on August 25th.And   it's a big thing fo sure.It's mostly new and fresh material,self written and produced for his own record label RobSo.

 The album includes a cover of the Norah Jones hit "Don't know why'. Special guests on the LP include (neo)soul queen India Arie,guitarist Carlos Santana and UK soul singer Joss Stone.

The CD also contains a homage to early Motown and Michael Jackson with the hidden bonus track "I Want You Back".
